Studio Photography - Squirrel's Nut Butter
For this project, my client needed product photos for five separate products that their company sells in retail stores and online. Some of the finalized label printing was not consistent with the company's brand colors, which was needing to be adjusted post-photoshoot. Not only was the color printing inconsistent with the brand colors, but the labels were very glossy, dark, and low contrast, which made post editing and photo retouching a bit of a challenge. Despite this, I was able to work around these issues with the use of Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Products were shot in studio setting, and initially edited in Lightroom to dial in the product packaging. Photos were then taken into Photoshop to build the staged effects needed to create clean and consistent product photos for web usage. To recreate the color and sharpness of product label images, original vector designs were brought into Photoshop as overlays. In the end, my client was happy with these results.
